Edge IT Text Messaging Terms and Conditions
By opting in to receive text messages from Edge IT and/or our subsidiaries or affiliates (collectively, “we,” “us,” “our”) (the “Service”), you agree to these Text Messaging Terms and Conditions (this “Agreement”).
This Agreement does not modify any other terms, conditions, or privacy policy that may apply to your relationship with us in other contexts.
Important dispute notice: Our Terms and Conditions of Use may require disputes to be resolved on an individual basis (not as part of a class or representative action), may include a waiver of the right to a jury trial, and may require final and binding arbitration. If you do not agree to the applicable terms, you may not participate in the Service.
1. Providing your mobile number; duty to notify
You represent that any mobile number you provide to us is accurate and that you are the current subscriber or authorized user of that number. If your contact information changes (including a change in ownership of your mobile number), you agree to notify us before the change takes effect by contacting us at [Support Email] or [Support Phone].
2. Consent to receive automated texts
By voluntarily providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages (including SMS, MMS, or similar technologies) from us regarding our products, services, support, account activity, offers, promotions, transactions, and your relationship with us.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.
3. Opt-out and help instructions
Opting in is voluntary, and you can opt out at any time.
-
To stop receiving texts, reply STOP to any message from us.
-
For help, reply HELP or contact us at [Support Email] or [Support Phone].
You may receive one final message confirming your opt-out.
4. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
-
your provision of a mobile number that you do not own or are not authorized to use, and/or
-
your failure to notify us of a change in your mobile number.
This includes claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) or similar state laws.
5. Third-party provider limitation (if applicable)
If we use a third-party communications provider (for example, Broadvoice) to deliver text messages, you acknowledge that the provider is not responsible for, and will not be liable for, disputes between you and us, including any claims arising from our communications, services, or your relationship with us.
6. Participation requirements
To participate, you must be at least 18 years old and have a wireless device capable of two-way messaging, be using a participating wireless carrier, and have an active text messaging plan. Not all carriers support all message types.
7. Miscellaneous
You represent that you have the right, power, and authority to agree to this Agreement. If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
We may update this Agreement from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes as required, and your continued participation in the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
